We strive to make our men’s groups accessible to all who feel called to do this work. We each come from a unique place of financial privilege that is based on a myriad of factors—debt, expenses, caregiving responsibilities, health care, family resources, savings, and employment.
Consult the Green Bottle and answer these questions to determine what you should pay.
When you pay more, you are sponsoring someone who is not as financially abundant.
Reciprocity, honesty, and responsibility are the core principles of the sliding scale model.
Are you comfortably able to meet all of your basic needs?
Does your level of debt prohibit attainment of basic needs?
Do you own your home or property?
Are you employed or underemployed?
Do you have regular access to health care?
Do you have access to financial savings?
Do you have expendable income?
Can you afford to eat out multiple times in a week?
Can you afford to go on an annual vacation or take time off?
Do you fret about paying rent?
Do you take care of a sick elder and not receive compensation?
